Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

• Account information. Your email address and name, collected when you start a membership. There is no separate signup — paying is what creates your account, and Stripe collects your email and name on its own checkout page.
• Billing information. Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details — we hold a reference to your Stripe customer and subscription only.
• Waiver acceptance. When you start a membership, we record that you agreed to our Waiver & Release and these Terms, along with the date and time, which version you agreed to, your IP address, and your browser's user agent string — the record we'd rely on if that agreement were ever disputed.
• Practice activity.Which lessons you've watched and your progress through them, so the library can show what you've completed and let you resume where you left off.
• Technical information. Standard web request information (IP address, browser and device type) collected automatically by our hosting and video providers as part of serving the Service.

2. How we use it

We use your information to:

• Provide and maintain your membership, including billing and access to Content
• Keep a record of your agreement to the Waiver and Terms of Service
• Track your practice progress within the library
• Send you account, billing, and Service emails, and occasional updates you can opt out of
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access
• Comply with legal obligations

3. Who we share it with

We do not sell your information. We share it only with the service providers that make the Service work, each acting on our instructions and only for that purpose:

• Stripe — payment processing and billing.
• Mux — video hosting and playback.
• Resend — sending account and billing emails.
• Zoho — our email inboxes, which hold any messages you send us.
• Umami— counting visits to the site's pages (see §4).

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of WuJi School, our members, or others.

4. Cookies

We use one functional cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. To understand how the site is used, we count page visits with Umami, a privacy-focused analytics service. It sets no cookies, does not collect your name or email, and does not follow you across other sites.

5. Data retention

We keep your account and billing information for as long as your membership is active, and for a period afterward as needed for our own records, to resolve disputes, and to comply with legal obligations — including the waiver acceptance record in §1, which we keep for as long as a claim relating to your use of the Service could reasonably be brought.

6. Your rights

You can review or update your account information from your account page. To request a copy of your information, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account, contact us at support@wujischool.com. Deleting your account ends your membership; we may retain some information afterward as described in §5.

7. Children

The Service is not directed to anyone under 18, and creating an account confirms you are 18 or older (see the Terms of Service, §1). We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or on the Service before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept them.
